Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RoList website and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. The Services

RoList provides a directory-style platform where users may browse Roblox games, search listings, submit games for review, view profiles and history where available, and participate in like and ranking features. We may offer optional homepage or promotional placement (“premium”) slots, schedules, or windows; these may operate in test or simulated modes, may not involve real charges when presented that way, and may change, be limited by capacity, or be discontinued at any time.

We may publish documentation or tools that explain how listing owners can connect RoList events (such as likes) to their Roblox games. Use of those tools is optional. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must comply with Roblox’s Terms of Use, Community Standards, and other applicable Roblox policies when using Roblox-related features. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your authenticated session. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. User content and submissions

You may submit content such as game metadata, descriptions, tags, and similar materials (“User Content”). You represent and warrant that:

• You have the rights needed to submit the User Content;
• Your User Content does not violate law or third-party rights (including intellectual property and privacy);
• Your User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge where it is presented as factual.

You grant RoList a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and otherwise use User Content solely to operate, promote, and improve the Services (including moderation and backups).

5. Likes and fair use

Daily like features are provided for community engagement. You must not manipulate rankings through automation, multiple accounts, incentives that violate Roblox rules, or other abusive means. We may apply technical limits, remove like records, or take other action to preserve integrity. When a listing owner has turned on optional in-game notifications, a like on RoList may cause us to send an event toward Roblox as described in our Privacy Policy; delivery and in-game behavior are not guaranteed and depend on Roblox, the owner’s configuration, and their game.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable law or third-party rights;
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or harm others, or submit unlawful, hateful, or sexually exploitative content;
• Distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, or probe or stress systems without permission;
• Scrape or collect data from the Services in bulk without our written consent, except as allowed by public search engines for indexing public pages where permitted by robots rules we publish;
• Misrepresent your affiliation with RoList, Roblox, or any third party;
• Circumvent moderation, security, or usage limits.

7. Moderation

We may review, refuse, edit, remove, or restrict any User Content or listing for any reason, including quality, legality, authenticity, or alignment with community standards. We are not obligated to host any particular content. Decisions may be final at our discretion except where mandatory consumer laws apply.

Authenticated users may be able to report listings for review. Reports must be made in good faith. You must not abuse reporting, submit false or misleading reports, or use reports to harass others.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including branding, layout, and original text (excluding User Content and third-party marks), are owned by RoList or its licensors. Roblox trademarks belong to Roblox Corporation. You receive no rights except those expressly granted in these Terms.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice containing the information typically required by applicable law (such as identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact details, and good-faith statements). We may remove or disable access to material in appropriate circumstances. Contact details are provided at the end of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE, SAFE, OR ENDORSED BY ROBLOX. YOU ACCESS THIRD-PARTY EXPERIENCES AT YOUR OWN RISK.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OPTIONAL DEVELOPER INTEGRATION, HOMEPAGE PLACEMENT, OR DATA DISPLAYED FROM ROBLOX (INCLUDING CONCURRENT PLAYER OR OWNERSHIP CHECKS) WILL BE ACCURATE, TIMELY, COMPLETE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT MESSAGES OR EVENTS WILL BE DELIVERED TO ANY ROBLOX GAME.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROLIST AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RoList and its operators, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms the Services or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

14. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional steps.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Services operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may also apply. Courts in that jurisdiction (unless otherwise required by mandatory law) have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any right you may have to bring claims in your local courts where required by law.

16. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RoList regarding the Services and supersede prior understandings. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

17. Optional in-game integrations (listing owners)

If you enable features that send events from RoList to your Roblox game (for example in-game like notifications), you agree you are the listing owner or otherwise authorized to configure them. You grant us permission to use the Roblox sign-in or optional values you provide only to perform the delivery you turn on. You are responsible for your game’s scripts and economy, for keeping any optional secrets safe, and for following Roblox’s Terms of Use and Community Standards. We are not responsible for loss arising from how your game handles messages, outages on Roblox’s side, or misuse of saved connection data.
